Spring Fair was founded in 1950. It was first held in Birmingham International Convention and Exhibition Center in 1976. Queen Elizabeth II attended the opening ceremony. The exhibition is held twice a year in spring and autumn. It is one of the four major consumer goods exhibitions in the world and the most influential professional exhibition of handicrafts and consumer goods in the UK. The exhibition scale and influence rank second among the global consumer goods exhibitions.


In 2022, the exhibition attracted 1300 exhibitors from 31 countries and more than 50000 visitors. In addition to traditional gifts and home furnishing, MODA Fashion, the third largest segment of the exhibition, will be added to the exhibition for the first time in 2022 as the fashion product exhibition area. Birmingham International Footwear, Luggage and Accessories Expo (MODA) is one of the oldest fashion trade fairs in the UK. The exhibition has been held for more than 30 years. It is known as the "No. 1 Footwear, Luggage and Accessories Expo in the UK" due to its largest scale and longest history. Spring Fair and MODA jointly held a wider range of comprehensive fashion exhibitions and trade platforms.

Four exhibition areas are planned to be exhibited in 2023: home furnishing exhibition area, gift exhibition area, MODA exhibition area and transnational procurement area; It covers 8 pavilions and 18 major product segments. At the same time, the exhibition held 60 industrial activities and forums, with more than 100 speakers and more than 7000 visitors.

Design&Source was founded in 2019, serving the world's top consumer goods manufacturers and traders. The scope of exhibits covers all types of exhibits in the exhibition. The exhibitors are mainly suppliers with OEM or ODM capabilities, and can be customized according to the needs of buyers. In February 2020, 105 enterprises from 9 countries, including China, India, Ghana, Egypt, Nepal, Pakistan and South Africa, will be exhibited in the international procurement area.
